Get Involved with Your Neighborhood
There are two ways to get involved and volunteer to help keep our neighborhood safe and beautiful.
1. Spring is here and it’s time to plant flowers at the Mallard Drive entrance. With enough volunteers it should only take a few hours. To be sure the freeze has passed we will choose a date in mid April. Please e-mail idlewildnewsletter@live.com to volunteer to help make our neighborhood the most envied in town!
2. We have a request to start a Neighborhood Watch Program. We will need a minimum of 10 people to be Captains of various areas of the neighborhood. If you would like to see what being a Captain is all about, please call Ben at 803-469-0686 or e-mail at bdgriffith@ftc-i.net
Please consider either or both of these very important jobs to improve our neighborhood and make it the best place to live in Sumter!

Spring is Here!
With the spring weather fast approaching, you will see more of your neighbors out and about. They will be walking, raking, mowing, trimming trees, planting flowers, riding bikes and children will be playing. So please slow down when you are driving through the neighborhood. A friendly wave would also be a great neighborly gesture!
